A website for an electrical and lighting supplies shop

For a shop selling lamps, fittings, switches, sockets, wire and breakers: every lamp card shows its lumens and every wire its rated current, light colour is an option of the item itself, wire and LED strip sell by the metre, electricians get trade prices by the carton and ask for a quote on a building's board, in one ready site that takes orders from day one.

Light colour as the lamp's own option

Every wattage and every light colour (warm, natural, cool) is an option with its own stock and price. The specs give the lumens, the base and the lamp's life, and under the price it says that from ten pieces and from a carton the trade price applies.

  • Lumens, base and life
  • Each light colour with its own stock
  • Trade price from ten pieces

Light for each room

Lux times square metres makes lumens

A page that tells buyers how many lumens their room needs: a lux table for every part of a home and a shop, a light-colour guide, and for each room a ready basket that goes into the cart whole with one button.

  • A lux table for every room
  • A light-colour guide
  • One button for the whole basket

Electricians

A quote in three steps

An electrician puts their material list in the basket and asks for a formal quote instead of paying; the shop prices it in the panel and the buyer accepts and pays it before it expires. A building's board, which has no fixed price, takes only a quote, with the drawing attached.

  • A quote from the same basket
  • A drawing attached for a board
  • Carton price breaks

Made-to-order boardsThe buyer writes out their circuits or attaches the drawing, and the build time shows beside the price.
Shipping bulky goodsInverters and boards go only by freight or shop pickup; lamps and switches by courier and post.
Orders in the panelOrders, stock for every size and customers in one panel.
FAQ

Common questions

Do the demo's products and pictures become mine?

The site is built with these pages and sample products so you can see how it works. Then you put your own products in their place, or take the sample data out with one button.

Where do I set trade prices?

Every product option in the panel has its own price breaks: from how many pieces, what each piece costs. Quotes are answered in the panel too.

Does it have an English site?

Yes. Every page and product takes an English translation and the visitor switches language from the header.

What else do I need to sell online?

A payment gateway in your own name and a domain. Hosting, upkeep and updates are on Sima.
